We decided to share recipes that will help you boost your immune system and fight against this pandemic because at the moment there is no cure for this virus except making your Immune system stronger. Gourd is a vegetable high on water and is a rich source of vitamin C, K and calcium. As per scientist taking Vitamin C at the moment will help you boost your immunity. Our Kaddu Raita contains all these vitamins so do try it and enjoy.

Ingredients of Kaddu Raita

Round Gourd - 3 PCS | Half kg | - Kaddu Shareef
Yogurt | Curd - 1 Kg - Dahi
Potatoes - 4 pcs - Aloo
Onions - 2 medium pcs - Pyaz
Tomato - 1 piece - Tamatar
Green chilies - 4 pcs - Sabaz Mirch
Black Pepper - 1 tbsp - Kaali Mirch powder
Red Chili Powder - Half tea spoon - Laal mirch
Salt - 1 tbsp - Namak
Fresh Coriander - Half cup - Taaza Dhania

Making

Preparing Gourd / Kaddu Raita

First wash round gourds and peel off their skin. After that grater gourds. Now take a pan and put grated gourds in it along with a glass of water. Cover the lid of the pan and boil the gourd.

After 5 mins gourd is boiling and has become soft. Now take it out in a strainer. Pour a glass of cold water to bring gourd to normal temperature. Now squeeze the water out of them. Make sure that no water remains in them. If water remains then they won't last longer and taste will also change later. Gourd is ready to be added in final Ingredients.

Mixture

Take bowl of the Yogurt and add all the ingredients mentioned above except and mix them well. Your Kaddu Raita is ready. Enjoy.

Dahi phulki | Yogurt Gram Flour dumpling recipe is one of the most demanding recipe with foods like Pulao, Karahi and Biryani etc. But it is not only a supporting dish and is also served alone to say bye to your hunger. The taste of our Dahi phulki is Sweet, Salty and a bit spicy at the same time which feels delightful at every bite. Dahi Phulki is also consumed with different Chatnis | Sauces.

Preparation and mixing time: 15 minutes only.

Ingredients of Dahi Phulki:

Gramflour Dumpling .. 250 grm …………… Phulkia
Yogurt ………………. 500 grm …………… Dahi
Milk ………………….. 400 ml……………… Dudh
Salt …………………. 1 tsp ……………….. Namak
Red Chilli pwdr …… Half tsp …………… Laal Mirch Pwdr
Black Pepper pwdr . Half tsp …………… Kaali Mirch Pwdr
Sugar …………………1 Tbsp …………….. Cheeni
Onion ……………….. 2 pcs ………………. Pyaz
Tomato ……………… 1 pc ………………… Tamatar
Green Chillies …….. 2 pcs ………………. Sabaz Mirch
Potatoes ……………. 6 small pcs ………. Aloo
Coriander ………….. a little bit …………. Dhania
Chaat Spices ……… For Taste ………….. Chaat Masala

Making:

First Soak Gram flour dumplings in water. Then we will prepare yogurt by putting it in a bowl and stir it to make it creamy and plain. Now add milk in yogurt and stir it again.

After that we will add salt, black pepper, red chili powder, sugar, onions, tomatoes and green chilies in it. After mixing them we will add Boiled sliced potatoes and mix this material again.

Now we will take soaked Gram flour dumplings out of water and squeeze them to make them water less. After that add them to yogurt material and mix them. At the end add 200ml milk again and mix them. Then add coriander and mix them. Gram flour dumplings | Dahi phulki is ready now. You can add chaat masala for taste. Enjoy.
