Lemon Fish Fry recipe by Mayelas Kitchen

When weather is pleasant and you want enjoy it then Lemon Fish fry is going to be the best choice. This recipe is easy to prepare and cook.

Preparation time: 15 - 20 mins.
Fry time: 5 to 7 mins.


Fish (Pattar) - 3 kg - Pattar Machli
Lemon Juice - Half Cup - Nimbu Ka Ras
Garlic Paste - 3 tbsp - Lehsan Paste
Salt - 3 tbsp - Namak
Red Chili Powder - 2 tbsp - Laal Mirch
Red Chili Flakes - 2 tbsp - Daadar Mirch
Turmeric Powder - 1 and Half tbsp - Haldi
Cumin Powder - 1 tea spoon - Zeera Powder
Carom Seeds - 1 and half tbsp - Ajwain
Coriander Powder - 3 tbsp - Khushk Dhania Powder
Wheat Flour - Cooking Oil


Take the lemon juice cup and add 3 tbsp Garlic paste in it and stir it well. Now add the juice in all the spices mentioned above and mix them well.

Add fish in the spices and cover it well and put it in the stainer. Make sure the fish is covered well with spices and no part is left. Marinate the fish for at least 24 hours for best results.

To Fry take the fish and cover it with Wheat flour. Preheat oil in the cooking pot on Medium Flame and add your fish in it. Do not use High flame otherwise fish can get hard. On medium flame it will get cooked well from inside and will remain juicy as well.

Fry it for 5 mins or until it gets lite golden. Lemon Fish Fry is ready. Enjoy.
